User Roles

QuickTapSurvey allows you to create Users that can only perform specific actions in the system. For example, you can create a user that can collect data using the QuickTapSurvey app, but cannot view responses using the QuickTapSurvey Web App. Or you can create a user that can view and download responses but cannot create new surveys.

In order to provide access to specific system capabilities, you need to assign the appropriate role(s) to a user.

The following Roles are available in QuickTapSurvey:

User Role  Description
Account Manager This role is automatically given to the user that signs up for QuickTapSurvey. This is a superuser for the account and has access to all surveys and system capabilities. This is the only user that can manage the subscription, device licenses, billing details, and account settings.
Data Collector This role allows a user to download assigned surveys and send responses using the QuickTapSurvey app.
User Manager This role allows a user to add, edit, or delete users using the QuickTapSurvey Web App.
Survey Manager This role allows a user to create, import, edit, publish, unpublish, delete, and duplicate surveys using the QuickTapSurvey Web App. It also allows them to assign surveys to users.
Data Manager This role allows a user to view, download, and delete data for assigned surveys using the QuickTapSurvey Web App and view reports in the QuickTapSurvey mobile app. They can also map response information from QuickTapSurvey to Integrations (InfusionSoft, MailChimp, and Salesforce) if also assigned the role of Survey Creator or Survey Manager.
Survey Creator The Survey Creator role is the same as the Survey Manager role except that it Survey Creators do not have the ability to assign surveys to users. The Survey Creator role is only available on the Premium plan.
Data Viewer This role allows a user to view and download data for assigned surveys using the QuickTapSurvey Web App and view reports in the QuickTapSurvey mobile app.
API User This role allows a user to access survey data programmatically using the QuickTapSurvey API.
