Overview of Device Management
The cost of QuickTapSurvey is based on the number of devices you use with the platform. When you subscribe, you select a plan and purchase a number of Device Licenses. You need to have one Device License for every device you use with QuickTapSurvey.
When you log in to a device, the device automatically registers itself with your account. If you have a license available, it will use that license and become an Active Device. You will be able to access all responses that are sent from an Active Device. If you do not have a Device License available, the device will be an Inactive Device. You will not be able to access any responses that are sent from an Inactive Device.
To activate this device, you will need to do one of the following:
- Add a Device License
- Deactivate an Active Device and use that license to activate the Inactive Device
- Make a request to replace an Active Device with the Inactive Device
