Adding an 'Other' Option for Multiple Choice - Many Answers

If Other is an answer choice in one of the multiple-choice many answer questions, you can ask the survey-taker to specify using Complex Skip Logic.

Using Complex Skip Logic:

1. Add a Text - Single Line question after your question asking the respondent to specify their answer.

 2. Click on the Edit Survey icon

3. Add the Complex Skip Logic expression if(eA~=B;eC;eD). Use the guide below to fill in the Complex Skip Logic expression with your own information.

A = the Question ID for the Multiple Choice - Many Answers question

B = the Answer Number for the Other response in the Multiple Choice - Many Answers question

C = the Question ID for the Text - Single Line question

D = the Question ID for the question following the Text - Single Line question

4. Click the Save button.
